My dog is dying and will be put to sleep tomorrow the 20th of April. We put our two dogs in Burt's care from April 9 through April 13. When we dropped off our dogs they were happy and in great shape. When we picked them up, one was bitten all over and the one, that will no longe be in our family, could not walk. Furthermore, both were in shock and smelled of urine. We took the dog that couldn't walk to the vet and X-rays showed trauma induced injury to his hips.
For the last week we have given him the medication prescribed by the vet and have comforted and cared for him. My two young boys and my wife have had to watch him deteriorate and prepare for death. He no longer is able to walk. He urinates and defecates himself throughout the day. He will not eat and has no response to emotion. As I write this our families beloved dog sits on the floor unable to move, urinating and defecating himself while we wait for the morning so we can put him in better place.
I am so disgusted that there is no regulations or license required to monitor the animal abuse my family has had to witness... So my review is... You know... Signed one sad, confused and broken family... Family5
