An Amanda on 4/16 contacted me at my Employment. This is one of three threatening calls that were made in the last 6 months from this agency however contacting me and then indicating that had the permission of my HR Dept to talk to me was the last straw.
They threatened to have a Policeman come to my work and arrest me immediately. I tried explaining several times that I have no debt and that I was not the person they keep calling, was only my first name not my last name and she never did get my last name correct but indicated only the last 4 numbers of my Social Security Number.
She indicated this had to do with Check Fraud and she was a Federal Investigator assigned to this case and was trying to help me stop this before I ended up in a Federal Jail for Check Fraud unless I listened to her. I indicated again very calmly I was not the person she was trying tor reach and that the debt she indicated I had was not something that I have entered into or knew anything about. She indicated she had already contacted my bank to testify against me.
I asked for her to send in writing and she then got abusive again. When I indicated that I had contacted my lawyer and in the State of Wisconsin there are laws that protect me and asked for her Full Name she would not supply it. I have sent a Cease and Desist Letter both to their website and in writing. I want to file the complaint to stop this type of scam and harrasment and due whatever I have to.
This was embarrassing to have this top of call at work, she even talked to a receptionist and indicated I was in violation of a Check Fraud they were investigating.
