My daughter was 13 when she attending a free model search in Ithaca, NY. She was chosen to be a model however they said she would need the very best photo's if she ever wanted to become a model. So they set up a photo shoot-big surprise the photo's now would cost $400.00.By this time my daughter was so happy that other people thought she was so pretty and that she could be a model how could I tell her no.
The agency said she would get so much work because she was so young and pretty and really had just the look. After we paid for the photo's we never received a single phone call about any jobs at all. I called the Agency almost daily to check on what they were doing to get my daughter modeling jobs and the finally said to me (Your daughter is just to young maybe she will do better when she is older.)
