I loaned a man 10k for his business, Monterey Bay Salt Co. He has payed me back one fifth of the money. I sued him and won the case, but he didnt show up for the court hearing. His accountant walked free. I dont know where the rest of the money went. Robert Kirkland will not tell me his home address because he doesnt want to be served further court papers. He is known to lie by many people Ive met, and some have told me he is a shady character at best. One person told me they even felt he was dangerous. I dont have my money back, but I do have the truth.
What is painful about this situation is that the man is going about making his business work (depends on who he is telling). He told me twice I put him out of business, yet I see him operating his business with his truck, which has signs on it. I see the tanks he hauls the seawater in. I saw him pumping it right from the pier.
