Into a 4yr marriage, purchase home, my V.A. Loan and her home town. Both our names on the title (she missed her family, and I recently graduated/worked underwater welding in texas.) I figured it would be better for the marriage if we move near her family. Before 2nd payment she leaves for the neighbor accross the street.
About 6 months later we both notorize an agreement - I get the house&car she get everything else. And after coming home from work early one night every thing WAS GONE. Dental floss, frabrez, bed, even sh* family given to me before and after we were together which wasn't agreed but closed was the bank accounts.
But whatever, cool let's move on w / our lives.
2yrs later she arrives w / divorce papers. I'm confused and need guidance because she refuses to sign a quit claim, and she wants to sell the house for half the money. What money? I've been there for 2yrs and I've made all but one of the fu*in' payments...
So I hire JOHN HARRIS. He sounds promising and mails her the quit claim.in return she wants me to refinance and the lawyer sets the agreement aside and said "things change durring a divorce settlement" and said for me to refinace and give her half the out come. Why should I increase my house payments wayyyy beyound the fact.
So i'm like f* everybody for about 8 months while the lawyer bills (calls requesting status of refinance/false messages/his secretary calling my grandmother-multible times/office not answering calls but only messages so they can call me back$)
Anyways so I get the refinance going and my wife along with the lawyer neither know that this will only be a rate change.in short nothing will be realized.
And the time comes for the signing of the quitclaim. And I ask john "what if she doesn't sign this time?" he says "I'll take both the agreement and the refinance order to the courts" and somebody there would sign.
By this time I've known this greedy a* for over 2yrs and he blames the situation on me and my refinace. I also had to change jobs because tips was the majority of my income and effected my request for a refinance. I hate him, and he tells me to fire him. Bbut what has $2500 nearly got for me yet?
So I recieve the loan papers all approved and a quit claim from the title company. And she agrees to sign for an extra $1500. Ii refuse and return to john and he says he'll take care of the matter for another $2500.
So I payed the bi* (wife that is) along with the notary fees and she currently wants me to pay for the divorce. I could care less if she has my last name for the rest of my life. Truth is I like her cheatin' a* more than my lawyer.
I just want my money back if possible, honestly I just want some one to punch his a* in the wallet and make him set some bills aside.
