Ack in oct. I had my lawyer (real estate lawyer at that) draw up a legal paper for my ex boyfriend whom i bought a house with to sign. He had agrreed to sign over his 50% of the house to me which gave me 100% ownership. Called Chase in Oct. And told them about what was happening.in Nov. My lawyer sent them a copy of deed of assumption. Tried ever since oct. To get assumption papers that they told me i had to sign never received them till Jan. After several calls to them every 3 wks. Said i had to refinance the house to have his name taken off loan.
Since at this time i am not living in house and when i wasn;t living there with him he was either late of didn't pay. I have since oct. Payed the loan up and making all payments on time since it became mine only.
Now today, i get a letter saying that the transfer is unacceptable by them (remember, they have had a copy of this since back in Nov.) i either have to pay loan off, put the deed back into both names (even though he wants nothing to do with the house) or sell my house within 90 days. Why are they now telling me this when they have been awair of this since back in oct.
All they are doing is causing me more stress.
