Complaint:
I was sold a gift cretificate advertising 4 seperate visits to the salon by a representative of an advertising agency, Efx (1866-272-3339). I then called the salon and they said that I had just bought a package they had not agreed to - there was no visit C. I called the ad agency several times that day and could never get through. I then wrote an e-mail to the company and did not get a response.
I went into the salon and tried to redeem the certificate, but again they would not agree to all 4 of the visits as I had puchased. Since they refused to honor the entire certificate, were very rude when I did not give in and would not refund my money. I called the ad agency again to get a refund. They would only refund 1/4 of the certificate value or give me a different promotion in other cities. I spoke with a customer service rep and then with her manager. I am very unhappy about this situation, and am sure the rest of the people that bought into this scam were too.

Settlement Explanation:
I want my credit card refunded. I want both the New Image Salon and Spa and the West Coast Ad Efx to be reported and reprimanded for misleading advertising, and a warning for other people to be cautious when dealing with either company.
