Rockwell Management You Are Forewarned About Building #17 - Windfield Townhomes, Rockwell Mgmt

I have been complaining to Windfield Townhomes management team, since February 18 about problems I have had with standing water, stray cats, and mosquitos and the property management has done little to remedy the situation. They have even taken on other construction projects (playground upgrade and sidewalk repair) but have refused to remedy the problem of flooding in and around building #17.

I have sent them a certified letter, and the only thing I've gotten is empty promises from property manager Kara Finley, and a relocated parking spot. Basically, that was to appease me so that I would not have to park in a spot that flooded (which I refused to do anyway), meanwhile, they planned to and did nothing to fix the root cause of several of the problems; flooding/standing water around building #17.

Since, this grievance has been on-going for 1 1/2 years. I have decided to bring my complaint to rip off report. I am asking the community for financial restitution and have at least one witness on standby who is aware of the conditions here and is ready to testify against them in court. I am sincerely astonished by the deceptive rental practices here as they wilfully hide or otherwise fail to disclose the problems within this community.

I deal with mosquitos, flooding/standing water, mud, stay cats, and stay cat fights. I am exausted and fed up, so I move out next week. Yet and still, the fight isn't over. I am not letting them get away with their incompetence on my watch. Neither I or anyone else who moves there deserves this sort of nonsense. We pay enough each month in rent to be able to expect better, period.

P.S. Property Manager, Kara Finley, Assistant Property Manager, Aubree Hinskey, Leasing Agent, Reena Ramirez, former Property Manager, Theresa Castillo, and District Manager, Lynette Gomez (713-957-8993) are all aware of this issue, but don't expect that people moving into my unit at the end of the month to have been advised of the issues. They don't disclose that information to prospective tenants.
