I check my billing on the net on a regular basis. I noticed that I had a $100 plus charge on there, and I called Verizon Wireless to find out what had happened. They said I didn't pay the May bill.

I use an online bill pay with my bank and have done so for over a year with NO problems. The check in question was held up by Verizon because "I was not using the correct account number". They had been putting the money into the correct account for over 6 months, but now they were not going to hand pull the account and credit it.

OK, I called my bank, told them what happened, corrected the account number, put a stop payment on the old check and the bank issued a new check the day after. Verizon clains that when the cashed the new check, it bounced. No way. They tried to cash the old check and that had a stop payment on it. They got the new check because the bank called them and verified that they had the check. They still show me $100 in debt when I acutally owe nothing and according to the bank, even have a credit.

I had to but my second phone on suspend, my first one was already on suspend, and now I am without cellular service from Verizon. They still haven't fixed it. I will never do business with these people again. They kept me on the line for over an hour and a half arguing that I was at fault, and until they put Hector on the line, I was willing to continue talking. He was just plain rude. Be careful of this company. I will go find another cellular service.
