I ordered a free online credit report months ago, in either February or March and cancelled my membership to that site that same day after viewing my "free" credit report. However on July 6, I received a charge from a "CIC Credit Monitor, " although I had cancelled months ago.
I suggest following the advice of another consumer who posted a fraud report on this company, and avoid so-called free credit reports online, and go to your bank for that information. I am also including the link to information on the lawsuit pending against this company, and the link to a more informative fraud report.
