I just wanted everyone to know that I also took part in the free credit report, and understood that I would have 30 days free. After receiving the report online, I called the next day and canceled the service. Now over 30 days later, I receive my credit card bill, and find a charge from CIC Credit Monitoring in the amount of $12.00. I will be contacting CIC tomorrow and attempt to rectify this issue, but please do NOT be lured in by the Free Credit Reports, it most certainly is not free.
