I also fell victim to this scam. I had a represenitive come out to the house and give me a professional quote to move my things.

I spoke to Darren (my Rep with the Company) after Duntara Rep came out and he added a bit more on the quote to cover all of my belongings so there wont be any surprise upon delivery.

They did not show up on the date agreed to movethey showed up days later with a truck that was too small for my things and had to come back after I moved to get the rest of the household items.

I called all the time and they would not answer the phone. When they did answer Nicole office manager lied to me several times as to where and when I would receive my belongings. They made several excuses when I was able to reach anyone - No Driver, Hurricane which did not happen, Truck broke down twice.

Then the truck never arrived on time as they (Darren) Rep promised They picked up my household items on 7/28 and I did not receive until 8/10. Darren stated it would be there by 8/1

I had to stay in a hotel. Buy an air mattress and several household items just to live in an empty house I sent my daughter back to Florida for a week due to living conditions.

Then when they arrived at my home they did not have but one person to move belongings and charged me an additional 1000.00 due in cash stating the weight was over

They held my belongs hostage and were going to leave if I DID NOT PAY IN CASH. ALSO IN THERE CONTRACT IT STATES CASHER OR CERTIFIED CHECKTHEY WOULD ONLY TAKE CASH

I found several items missing and called them and Nicole -Stated that I need to fill out a claim form and send in they have 90 days to respond..

They did send me a letter stating they received my claim and never heard from them again.

I have called several times and finally spoke to a Ms Lashane who stated my claim was in accounting and they are slow. I called several times later and did not hear back.

I called last week and said I was going to send to my attorney and received a call from Ms. Lashayne today stating I left a threatening voice mail.

She also stated my claim is in accounting and they are having financial difficulty. I requested a copy of the paperwork in accounting to be emailed to me or faxed and she refused and stated it will be mailed and she is only in two days a week. She then hung up on me.

I am sending this information to Duntara Moving, BBB, Rip Off Web Site, Channel 12 New Scam Reporting Division and my attorney... I only hope this information will get out there and Duntara Company will pay for there indiscretions in there business practices. Possibly a class action suit for all the consumers they have stole money and property from.
