Discriminated against me. They changed the rate on select customers. Rip-off!

I have had a Suncom account for nearly 3 years. I originally signed up for a 2 year agreement (Unplan).in January the phone stopped working and we had to purchase a new phone (full price) and agree to a one year extension.

In May I recieved my statement and noticed that I was being charged $60.00 instead of the contract amount of $49.95 per month. I called and was told the Unplan was no longer in existence. I was told I was notified that my rate was being changed but it was first noticed on my bill.

I called customer service and got no where. They did tell me that they were receiving numberous calls complaining about the rate increase. I continued to elevate my concern and ended up talking with Cynthia Kidd from Executive Response Department of Triton. She led me to belive that the Unplan that I agreed to was gone away and I had no choice but to cancel or go with the new Unplan at $60.00.

Over the weekend I was speaking to a friend that still has the Unplan at $49.95. I immediately called Cynthia Kidd at Triton PCS and when I asked for an explanation on why my rate was changed and my friends was not. Then she explained that they selectively chose certain cusotmer to raise the rates. This is discrimination against me. Everyone should know about this unfair practice.
