I worked with this company owned by iranian " abraham noy " family since
2008 - 2009. What was surprising is their blatant disregard for the law
including tenants & rights of workers. While many complaints have
been made to city agencies very little have been done to prosecute those
individuals running this company who operates 20 (aka) business
names using relative names as directors who have very little say or no
part of the operation of company.
On site manager/supervisor 7 days on call 24/7 being paid $350.00 per week for a period of 18 months. Working more than 80 hrs. Wkly. The tenants were very happy with me. Never had any complaints about my performance. Only the dishonest practice of helm management inc. Made it difficult working with tenants but i was always able to work things out no thanks to the administrative office.
Tenants: security deposits being with held for property damages which
they were not responsible for. I was a supervisor in this company who
witnessed many occasions after i cleared tenants to receive full
security refunds in the end to find out that they were charge for work
require to be done which they were not responsible for next renter
which was never done in the end.
Helm management violated a judges orders to stay an eviction notice
with no court action despite being served the papers. Abraham noy
disregarded the notice & removed my belonging from apt. His cel

Refusing to pay taxes on most employees hired without background checks done. Paying straight checks or cash. The few that is actually on the books are fired with no recourse. Frustrated with the system in place (nys dept of labor)
employees don't bother to file any complaints. Giving them card blanch to do as they please.
Contractors: many contractors would not perform work unless they are paid upon arrival at location with check in hand. Many contractors completed jobs but had to take legal action to be paid after long periods of not being paid. Major firms like pc richards & home depot did not approve commercial credit accounts due to past delinquent accounts.
