This company has decided to take this bad economy and use it as a way to get ahead by using people.in the state of California as of 2010 you do not have to have a license to be a bounty hunter. He doesnt disclose this information. He advertises on CRAIGSLIST with "Want to work undercover" or something to that effect in different posts. He starts out the interview process at a hotel lobby, while people are walking around and eating breakfast, he can't even get a private room, which at $595 dollars a person and many "alumni" before he should be able to afford a private conference room.
He talks to you in a group hyping up the business about making 100k a year and complete non-sense that i have come to find out. He then takes you into the business center office (another public room) and hands you a sheet of paper stating that you have to pay atleast a portion of the fee to hold your spot for the class. This is not mentioned on the CRAIGSLIST AD. He has a cease and desist order in indiana, which he states is because he didnt have a license to teach there so he subcontracted someone and he wasnt licensed either. Www.in. He threatens to take you to court, and sue for triple the amount if you do not pay & that if you write anything bad about his company he'll "get you for that too", obviously that is against the law under the first constitution as long as you are not threatening someone. He is extremely unprofessional. Rob Halliburton will not answer any questions regarding his accredidation with the dept of insurance, but he can get around this bc of the new laws. He talks in circles, and gives you everything u should hear except the answer.
BOTTOM LINE: DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! If you want good legal training do some homework before paying him ANYTHING! Something has to be done to stop this non-sense.
