My son and brother responded to an ad on Craigst list for "Work Undercover, Bounty Hunters Needed, WOW! Business is Booming (All Over Southern Cal), they went to the interview. Was interviewed by Rob Halliburton and made believe that it is a simple two day training to get certified etc. Then they can start working and make $80,000 per year. Both paid $200 cash as a down payment for the $595 class. The contract doesn't state anything that this down payment is non-refundable.
Upon returning home, I researched this company and Rob Halliburton and discovered he is a big scam artist, and have done this to many many other people. He makes innocent people believe that they have a job, while in fact, it is a simle class and the certificates is not worth the paper it is printed on. My son cancelled his contract and requested a refund, when he received a call from Halliburton that now he is going to sue him for triple damages (what a joke) plus he is going to put him in jail for 3 months (an even bigger joke!). My son received more threats via text this morning. This man is a modern day "Rambo" that is out to scam innocent hard working people out of their hard earned money!!! It should cost you any money to get a job!!! A simple background check is $20. I am also filing complaints with the Dept. Of Insurance, the Department of Consumer Protection, the State Attorney General's Office and the BBB. Don't go to his interviews which are held in hotels and vitual offices!!!
Only the public can stop con artists from getting away with doing this to innocent people. YOU have control of your life, don't let some yahoo make you believe that his 28 years can get you a job. His 28 years experience as a bounty hunter counts for nothing if he threatens to put you in jail for 3 months for money he desperately needs!!! He knows nothing of the law, so why trust him with your money! It is all a load of crap. I reviewed these responses that he filed on the prior complaints on this site, it is OBVIOUS that those responses and rebuttals were made by one of Rob Halliburton's alias. If he has virtual offices, several different addresses, several different emails and several different phone numbers, he responded in his own favor to these complaints! Do not let this fool you!!! Run with your time and money!
