I have an account with Farmers Home Furniture. When I started the account I purchased insurance to cover death, injury or unemployment.
When I became unemployed and applied for the insurance to help with my payments I was denied.
I have heard two reasons, first; I did not work long enough to qualify for benefits., ;second; They do not pay if you become disabled.
I have had this account since 2003 and never had a complaint until now. All they are doing is collecting money for insurance premiums that they have no intention of ever paying.
I feel completely cheated after paying so long for insurance to cover me in case of any circumstance only to be told that I am not eligible for compensation.
If an insurance company is not going to pay a claim then they should not accept payments for coverage that evidently does not exist.
