While trying to get my septic inspected. It was was told to me that $295 to pump the septic tank (estimated 1500 gallons) The charge for 'finding' the septic which equaled $175 because they utilized the electronic finder. They brought out the mini caterpillar and dug up the septic. The worker then said that he would need a machine to break up the solid matter and other things needed to be done such as the line to drain field sprayed out for the 1500 gallons. Their total was over $1000.00... I told them no way, so they left. Upon leaving they tore up the walkway because they didn't back in. (Note; did try to fix it but a small effort at it)
Called another company they did everything for $300.00 and they worked quickly. Their machine to break up the some of the solid matter was a crowbar which was not a big chore. The tank was then told by the 'honest' company was 1000 gallons.
Moral of the story dont use them at all.
