I made a big mistake and ordered an alarm system for a rental house from this company. I wondered about their high pressure sales tactics and the "limited" time frame in which to install the alarm, but foolishly overlooked it. I received the alarm on December 6th. I had 20 days to install it. I contacted the firm because the only time I had to install it was this weekend. I called the customer service person, "Derrick" and spoke to "Matt" instead. Matt assured me they would be there this weekend to walk us through the installation, EVEN THOUGH it was Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Needless to say, when I called, the installation department was closed for the holidays. I still have one day to install this system, but when I got upset and started researching this company, I found 99 other reports of horrible service.
I am not going to install this system, I am going to send it back to them, cancel my debit card and file whatever forms are necessary to stop them from taking any more money from the bank, and I am going to the local District Attorney when they begin their scare tactics to collect money. Thank you all for your reports and I will do all I can to get the word out that these folks are totally dishonest. I can already tell they do not care a whit about their image or customer service. Better to be threatened with collections and have something to fight back with through the bank, useless Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General. As someone mentioned, local media may be of some use. I will get proof that I have returned their alarm to them, unopened and uninstalled.
