I called this company to come out and install an alarm system in my house. They advised I would get $100 gift card to activate, just to find out they are charging me $99.00 to just come out to the house and do an instal. Basically it's not a gift card! After the guy was there for almost 4 hours trying to instal and sell extras and tell's me its not really a free system you will need to buy basically everything. Total was costing my approx $2,000.00 for all items and install. After a wasted day waiting for him to install I later receive a bill in the mail from the city stating the alarm was never registered and they had dispatched police on a call so there was a $50.00 charge. To top that off several months after the install I get a call from the collections dept. Stating I owe them the 114.00 fee from installation as well as a permit fee which was never disclosed for an addition $115.00. Wow can you say the word SCAM! To top off all of their lies the tech never installed the system properly causing me to fail inspection from the city. So they had to come back out and waste another day of my time to fix what they should have done the right time and yet still charge me an install fee. Besides having to miss additional time from work to have it reispected again to almost fail inspection again cause he did not use the correct color wire. So besides the fact that this company is a SCAM and will bill you for additional items, never send you a gift card and give you horrible customer service over the phone and hang up on you when you dont agree with them, but not help you with your problem they just want their money or they will send you to collections. I would definately love to SUE the crap out of them so they cant do this to anyone anymore but unfortuanately starting a lawsuit and winning here is basically pointless.in other words we are defenseless and will continue to pay money to companies that know they can get away with it! Do yourself a favor dont activate service with them and spread the word about their hidden charges, their bad customer service and incapability to install your system correctly or pull permits needed on time. If anyone has any information on ways to get them for what they do let me know cause I will go all the way to take them down.
