Our moving day was a nightmare. A U-Haul near our house did not have the truck we wanted so the clerk scheduled us to pick up a truck 25 miles away. Rip-Off experience #1. But it got worse. We went to this U-Haul place at Potomac Mills in Woodbridge, Va. And when we got there there were also no trucks. I was irate and demanded a bigger truck at the same price, anything so we could start our move. They couldn't help. I had them issue a refund which he seemed to ring up on the cash register. But a refund never went through. When I contacted them they said they processed it and I'd now have to call U-Haul headquarters. I called them and they said the store would have to approve the refund. It was a disaster. It ruined our moving day. I'll never use U-Haul again and I recommend you don't if you're relying on the truck being there. My friends say use Public Storage or Penske for trucks.
