Do not ever even think of doing business with Preferred Relocation. They quoted me for a cheaper price, but could not commit to a delivery date. Then the moving team was late arriving and said that I needed to pay $450 additional to guarantee a delivery date. 10 minutes later, he called back and said he couldn't do this after all. They pressured me to sign the agreement and then wanted 50% of the payment before they even put my things onto a truck. The agreement also stipulated that the balance of the fee be paid before they unload - IE: you have NO clue what condition your things will be in. Someone in the 'escalation' department contacted me and fed me a bunch of bullshit statements about how he would do everything in his power to accommodate for my move but told me it was a federal violation to guarantee a moving date in NY State. Please steer clear and avoid the hassles I had. If you're reading this, it's for a very good reason. This company is NOT to be trusted. Do not be fooled and please learn from my mistake.
