Do not buy a puppy from Diane D'Gani Standard Poodle Breeder because she will steal your deposit! She asked us to meet her face-to-face for an interview regarding buying a standard poodle puppy. We drove 4 hours to West Palm Beach and gave her a REFUNDABLE $800 cash deposit. We were told as long as the litter had 2 female puppies, we would get one.
We waited patiently for the litter to be born and were so happy when we saw that the litter did have 2 female puppies. When we called Diane she said there was not a female puppy available and we asked for our deposit back.
My husband has since called multiple times and all she would say is that she needs to check the paperwork and will get back with him. She even hung up on him a few times! It's been 6 months and we still haven't gotten our refundable deposit back.
She has now changed her story and says the deposit was non-refundable. Why on earth would we drive 4 hours and pay $800 in cash for a dog that we were never going to get??? We were told it was refundable! She lied to us and stole our money.
