I have a complaint with Benefit Cosmetics online. I purchased a few items from them a few months ago and one of the eyeshadows I received was already damaged/broken. Plus, they advertise the fact that with every order, they'll send you free samples. Well, I received two sample size lotions but when I opened the jars, they were empty (there were traces of lotion in them as if someone had already used them).
Since I was happy with all my other products, I didn't feel it was necessary to complain about the eyeshadow and have them send me a new one. I figured I could still use it in its condition. But after my first use, it totally fell apart and is beyond using. After several failed attempts of contacting them through email (they never responded), I called them. They told me that they couldn't do anything about it, I should have called them immediately. I stated that I had contacted them immediately through email but they never responded. They told me there was nothing they could do about it and that they would not replace it if I sent the damaged one back. Am I right or wrong? You decide.
