I purchased an OEM Samsung laptop travel from MicroCenter 1.5 years back, using what was said to be a three-year guarantee.

The drive failed. Samsung explained it had been a 'grey-market OEM' which was not said to be offered within the U.S. I got the push back again to MicroCenter, however they declined to simply accept any obligation or create any type of reimbursement or trade.

Moral of the tale: DoN't purchase OEM items from MicroCenter if you don't like gaming.
