My two pugs were taken on May 26. I immediately contacted PugHearts Houston and spoke to the owner Cindy Rothermel. She asked me questions so that she could identify my boys if PugHearts had them. I told her particulars about them. When she found out that (a) I had NOT neutered either of them, and (2) one was the father of the other, she got quite upset with me. Thus afterwards, things didn't seem right.
I was informed at that time that I was a bad Pug owner since I did not neuter my pugs and especially because I allowed Chief to breed ONCE! She let me know immediately that I would NOT be eligible to adopt ANY of their pugs. Little did I know, that even meant my own!
When I asked to see particular pugs that I thought may be mine, she made excuses as to why I could not see them. I made attempts to go where PugHearts Houston would be (social events, adoptions, etc.
