After speaking with the owner on the phone, and telling me that he charges 49.95 for a service charge on th phone and that he was cheaper then most, i decided to let him come to do an estimate on a small plumbing job whe he got here and he was 10 minutes late he looked at the job and said to me he wanted to charge me 485.00 to do the job he said that he was charging me for his advertising and his overhead costs that i as the custome was responsable, i told him he was out of his mind and then he had the nerve to ask me if i was an account, if i went in to a company and that i would tell the company that it was their cost for doing business, he then said i would be shown the door i couldn't believe that this sorry excuse for a plumber who was late and was dressed poorly with his shirt hanging out all over the place.
I paid him the 49.95 and told him to leave my home and that i would be reporting him to this place, of course i paid him by check so now i can cancel it
I proceeded to call the next plumber on the page and the gentlemen his name was Pat said he could come right over and do the job for me, he would just need to look at it. He quoted me 200.00 and was finished in 1/2 an hour i would never recomend bischof for any plumbing job and hope that others will follow my lead, they are a rip off company that thrives on getting your 49.95 and charging you a top dollar price so you wont do the job and then they just take your service charge money and go not having to do any work
And let him come after me i have most of his conversation on my cell phone say that it is the customers job to pay his overhead remember David bischof, he was the owner and the gentlemen who came to represent his own company. For any of you who want a upfront and cheap plumber company you can count on call (competitor's name and phone number redacted) HE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU unlike bischof
Sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company. Plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
