Had a horrible experience with Precision Mini Storage out of NY. The owner of this firm, Shlomo Denti, owns and operates the following companies at 11-18 Longwood Avenue, Hunts Point, NY 10474: Precision Moving & Storage; Precision Mini Storage; Delta Moving Services and Advantage Van Lines.
BEWARE of all of these companies - they have an F rating with the BBB but I was scammed because Precision Mini Storage had an A rating because this guy closes businesses when they get a bad rating and the owner reopens under a different name.
I experienced theft, excessive damage, drastic price increases on moving day, untimely pickup / delivery, not disclosing accurate weight, etc. The main thing was huge price increases (even though my shipment weighed substantially less then what was estimated) and major damages and missing items.
I made a claim however you have to jump through hoops if you want to get reimbursed. Due to non-response from the company and the claims center they use it just isn't worth it for me to continue the fight.
My advise is to just stay away from all of these companys doing business by the same owner out of the same location. They are rip offs.
