My underage teenage daughter submitted a poem to this company. They chose her poem to be published in the book "A tresury of american poetry." Our family was so impressed that we all bought books and plaques, that totaled $214.75. As time went by and NO book or plaques, I then started to think this was a scam. The only papers that we recieved, was the ones that we had to send back in to them, my daughter even had to sign her name, to let them know that she did originally write her poem.
Now, no books, no plaques, and the only proof that we have is our credit card statement, which we are working on getting credited. They do not have a legal phone number, and if you look up american poets society on the web, you will also get a bogus website, that has nothing to do with poetry or books.
