I received my credit card statement today 3-9-04 and there was a charge of 79.95 from cic credit monitor service. Who are these people? Never heard of them. Called my credit card company they said to call cic. They said my husband authorized this charge. I don't think so. My husband would never do any such thing without my consent. Had my daughter look up cic on internet found hundreds of people with same ripoff story. Called credit card company again cancelled credit card and then called cic told them of the findings on the internet they said they would refund my money in 7-10 days. Had the nerve to ask me if I wanted this service now... NOT.
Please be aware of what is on your credit card statement. If you don't recognize a charge find out as soon as possible what it is and who placed it.
