I bought a red max weed trimmer for my business, looking at changing my lawn care fleet over to red max products. This trimmer was used approx. 5 months, and quit working so I took it back to Ace hardware store in Hayden Idaho where I bought it. The Tech Charged me for repairs, to rebuild the carb. He said it was due to bad gas. I didn't know ace hardward trained there tech's to test gas to see if it good or bad. He also said I need to find another sourse to buy my gas, because it's all bad. I have also turned this complanit over to Red max, and the District Mgr. For CENEX oil corp. I don't beleive their gas is bad. I think your tech is wrong. There for I will never buy another Red max product, or for that matter, any product from ACE hardware since they will not honor their warrantys, on the products they sell.
