I have witnessed the most disgusting thing last night while shopping for lingerie for my wife. I was in Victoria's Secret at the Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, NC, taking my time and casually perusing the assortment of lingerie items, trying to select the perfect gift. Well, I could not help but notice the rude customer at the counter, with a bagfull of merchandise she was trying to return. I overheard the entire conversation. The sales girl asked why she wanted to return everything, and the answer was that the items didn't fit, or were uncomfortable, or the lace was scratchy, etc.
The sales girl commented that there was hair and a slight staining on parts of the garment, but did nothing to deny the return. The sales girl then asked if the customer had the tags, since no tags were attached to any of the items, and the customer said no. Obviously these items had all been worn.
The tags were removed and the customer stated that they were "scratchy" or "did not fit right" and the items had bodily evidence on various parts. Whatever! The sales girl accepted the return, opened a drawer full of tags and re-tagged the items, and then put them straight out on the rack!
I have never witnessed something more disgusting before in my life! Needless to say I put back the items I was thinking about purchasing and left that store immediately.
NEVER, I REPEAT NEVER trust that what you buy from that store is CLEAN, NEW, and NEVER WORN. After what I witnessed, I can only expect that their return methods are pretty much standard for every customer that comes in their doors (aka, this probably happens EVERY DAY!)!!!
