National Moving Network (too Many Aliases To NAme, California Vanlines Dba Zeke National Moving Network

My husband contacted Randy Goldberg (owner of National Moving Network) who conveyed to him he could do a move for $1,500 based on an estimate and that our items would be delivered to our new address within 7 days and we would be in constant communication with the moving truck. He portrayed himself to be the moving company.

On the date of the move, California Vanlines showed up (well after they were supposed to) and began putting our items on this truck. We were to be out of our house by the end of the evening and time was running out for the day. We were told we would have our items by California Vanlines within the 7 days and were given a phone number to keep in contact with the truck. We arrived to our new state and our belongings did not. We contacted Randy Goldberg who indicated the items would be sent within the next several days. This went on back and forth and we eventually got in touch with Brian Ewell from California Vanlines who also indicaited our items would be sent immediately.

The day before the truck was to arrive, Brian Ewell called to extort more money from us due to the weight and we indicated we had an agreement with Randy Goldberg. He said if we did not agree to pay the extra $1,500 we would have our items stored in a storage facility and would be charged some outrageous fee per day. He also said we would have to sign a waiver not to sue or they would not deliver our items.

The moving truck finally arrived. I video taped the removal of all items and opened everything in front of the movers. To my horror, several of my wardrobe boxes (with a priceless oil painting) were missing, boxes of crystal and expensive stoneware were in millions of pieces, furniture was broken and/or stolen. I immediately went nuclear and needless to say, no waiver to sue was signed. Brian Ewell is a liar. Randy Goldberg is a liar. They are professional criminals who are hiding behind the rules that are not governing interstate commerce.

California Vanlines is out of business under that name with the Secretary of State. They filed under Zeke Inc. Which has been suspended. This is because they are constantly sued and they are trying to keep a step ahead of the people they rip off. National Moving Network has so many aliases I cannot name them. They too are trying to keep a step ahead of the people they rip off. Do not do business with either of these companies. Write to Congress, the Department of Transportation, the Attorney General, the FBI and anyone else you can think of to investigate these rip off con artists!!!
