HomesDiscovered.com is a real estate lead program designed to match real estate agents with prospective buyers and sellers. For a fee of $290 (pre-paid by credit card) they will send you 10 leads. When you have received all 10, the company will again charge your card $290 for the next 10.
In January I contracted with the company.By March I had received the 10 leads I had paid for and my card was then charged another $290 for the next 10. As of April 13 I had only received 4 new leads and decided to cancel my subscription to the program.
In accordance with the contract I e-mailed the company my notice of termination 60 days prior to the termination date. The effective date would be June 13. Since April 13 I have not received a single lead, nor have I had any response to my numerous e-mails and phone messages. As far as I was concerned I was owed 6 leads or a credit on my credit card.
On May 5 I discovered that the company had again charged my credit account. Now my balance with the company is $464 of unused leads. I have tried over and over to contact them but they do not return calls and e-mails.
My next recourse was to contact my credit card company. They are investigating the matter.
Since that time I have researched the company online and found numerous complaints. I have filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Please, anyone considering using this company re-think your decision. This company is truly a rip off.
