Liberty National hires you but has no intention of training and instructing you about the insurance business. If you gain any knowledge whatsoever, it's something YOU read, studied, or learned online—NOT a good teaching tool.
The branch manager is a good man who has a bountiful and giving heart, but he should have gotten rid of his unit managers—both of them—the 2 extremes of laziness and dictatorial control—LONG ago.
The company's philosophy regarding their new agents is upside down: it sets a new agent up for failure. After you have given them your leads, then the unit managers direct you to worksites if you're lucky, but you're not learning important things; you're told to go buy Krispy Kremes before you meet your UM at the worksite.
Without classroom training, hands on training from knowledgable and honorable people, this company will die in a few years, especially in Alabama.
