Lorraine Nickel Did not pay me for work completed

I worked with Lorraine as a teenager which included working at her office which was once located on North Service Rd.in the Reimer buildings. Lorraine owes me close to $1,000 for work which was performed to her website and for creating composite cards for models (I would make $15.00 to print 10 cards of each model which had photos on the front and back - not sure how much some of these people paid for this but I can only imagine) and also $15.00 to add an individual to the website (lornik.com) now recreated as IN Model Management. As a full time student, doing this work was not a priority as school was however Lorraine always made it seem as though I put off doing her work to hang around girls. She even went as far as calling my mother to tell her I had a car full of girls. I admit that I slacked off sometimes on doing her work as $15.00 was really not enough to cover my time, printing cost and effort in creating these cards or updating the website however one day when I dropped off a large portfolio of cards/completed website additions to her, she met me in her parking lot, I gave her the folder, she handed me what she said was a cheque and squealed her black BMW off onto Burloak Drive. I opened the envelope and found that there was no cheque, she said I was not getting paid as I did not perform work that I billed her for. Funny thing though that she took all the work that I actually completed prior to 'paying me'. For being an older woman, you would have thought she would not have pulled such a childish move. None the less, I thought it wasn't worth my time to pursue but knew karma would bite her in the a$ one day. It sure did, look at the Better Business Bureau site for Halton as they go in depth as to some of the suits filed under the Consumer Protection Act that were won against her and also explains why she ended up changing her address and business name. Beware when you use her service or any other modeling agencies service for that matter. Most of these people are orange, over tanned, leathery skinned people who think that karma will never come their way. It's really nice though to see what happens when it does.
