I contracted with Public Van Lines to move from San Diego Ca to Grants Pass Oregon.
At the beginning of negotiations, all went well. Gabriel the CS who drew up my contract was very concientious about gathering all the details so that the move would be priced right. I evern sent pictures of my possessions so that he could estimate the cubic feet.
The two men who arrived to load the truck on moving day were also very neat orderly and concientious. I thought I had a most responsible move and paid the bill up front. Never quibbled.
Then a week later the mover arrived, one person, who had run a Craigs list ad and hired a local man to help. My boxes looked as though they had been through a hurricane. The LCD Tv is has a cracked bezel and doesn't work, my bike was taken apart and the bolts that hold it together are lost, one wicker basket is smashed and some of the boxes have been hijacked. Now I two lampshades and no lamps and I fear that the mover has taken my photo albums and maybe personal information in order to further wreck my life.
I have called Gabriel at Public Van Lines and sent him pictures of the damage and a list of boxes that I have received. Of course he has not called me back and I wish I had not been so stupid and to pay the bill and trust this company.
