E-filed federal taxes for the first time, selecting one of many services listed via IRS website. NO1tax appeared no different from others. I received e-mail giving me login and password so I am reassured the company has this info correct. After several weeks of no news from IRS nor NO1tax, I inquired with the IRS of my return status. I was informed of error leading to a rejection by the IRS. This had to do with the final PIN verses adjusted gross income for 2009 and the fact that I had not e-filed in 2009. Corrections were made and electronically submitted per IRS instructions. NO1tax is not available for live/chat support, did not return answer to my request and FAQ's with solutions did not address this.
Ten days later after inquiring with IRS, I was informed that my taxes were not re-submitted by NO1tax. Reading the fine print from NO1tax, there is a charge after the second submit. So I am left with sending my return the way I have for so many years: snail mail. The frustration comes from not mailing the return months ago. The money would have been banked by now.
