On April 29th we had packers, and the actual move date was the 30th, so we ordered two days of service. My husband works for CSC (DoD civilian contractor with 10 years prior active duty service) and lives in Afghanistan appx 11mos of the year, we have two young children.
There were some issues with the movers in general; such as no matter how much I asked them not to, using their pre-used boxes they could bill me for instead of the boxes I pre-ordered at a better rate, as per Mike's (the other guy in the office) suggestion. Spilling coffee on the carpet and not cleaning or saying anything about it, which we'll have to pay for. Literally helping themselves to whatever in the fridge and leaving the trash anywhere but in a trash can. Of course there were things that got broken in the move, though it was literally only across the street. Broken lamps, cracked mirrors, scratched wood.
