I bought a pair Nike tennis that cost me over $80.00. I bought the shoes as a gift for myself for Mothers Day. I saw the shoes and would not buy them for that price. I went to that store twice looking at the shoes and still would not get them. When you have two sets of twins spending that kind of money for one item is just out of the question. The third time I went into the store I had the older set of twins with me and they talked me into getting the shoes. My problem is the gift that I decided to have for myself now has a hole at the top of the shoe. I called the store and was only quoted the policy of 30 day return and they could not help me I would have to call Nike. I called Nike and they told me it was up to them to exchange the shoe because they could exchange it and would be able to get full credit for the shoe. The other idea was for me to ship the shoe back at my expense which, means I would have to go out and buy another pair for work plus pay for shipping and handling and after 21 days they would decide whether or not to replace the shoe. That was not acceptable at all so I called Famous Footwear back and told them they had that option to take it back and get full credit from Nike but again I was quoted the 30 day rule. Called customer service for famous footwear to get the district manager number and of course he has no phone number they would send him a e-mail to let him know to call me. Not gonna wait on that. I am very upset how I got ping ponged around and asked to actually spend more money to ship 3 month old $80.00 shoe and will not get reimbursed. I am so disappointed in my purchase and even more disappointed in Famous Footwear and Nike. I was not asking for a refund only for an exchange on shoes that I love and was so comfortable to wear to work. They offered me a 20% coupon to what buy a new pair shoes from them and can't even exchange if they are defective after 30 days. Thanks alot Famous Footwear next time I will just burn my money instead purchasing with you.
