After not being able to contact MCI Wireless by phone several times, I wrote them a letter on July 31 cancelling my service for my cell phone.
Had their service for 1-1/2 yrs. I sent them the letter & emailed it. They continued to invoice me for past service, even past the date I cancelled the service. I tried repeatedly to contact them & never got through.
I finally decided to pay them a $45.51 balance, even though it was for service way past the date they should have gotten the letter. I have not used the phone since 6/01.
I just got a past due Avoid Interruption of Service invoice for that same amount today, 1 month after I sent them the $45.51. There were two 800 numbers, all of which ring busy constantly. 800432-4557 & 800-507-9545.
Who may I contact next about this obviously ripoff?
