I have been trying for several months to close my account with WCOM Wireless. I started at first with email. Requesting to cancel my service. I emailed a sales rep, and WCOM Wireless many, many times with the understanding that my service was to be cancelled. However, it has never been cancelled.
I tried calling the # to cancel service. Everytime I call, I receive a message stating "the call volume was too heavy... If I want to speak with a customer rep, that I would have to call back another time". There is no way to leave a message.
Finally, on November 20, I spoke with an actual rep at Worlcom Wireless, Rich Rosario, and he stated it would take about 3 days to cancel my service. I have tried several times since to contact someone at WCOM Wireless and I keep getting the same prerecorded message to call back because call volumes are high.
I have even sent another email stating that I talked with someone and my account has not been closed. I have not received a response. This is past the point of RIDICULOUS!!!
Also, I feel that I should be not be charged for the last couple of months because this should have been cut off. But, I can't get in touch with anyone to turn the service off!!!
It is December 3, and service has still not been cancelled.
