I purchase"Total Home Plan" warrenty from this company back in October. On March 31st, I contacted the company and reported problem with my AC. Next day, their serviceman test the unit and found out that the condensor needs to be replaced. Then he walked outside of the house and contacted the Home Choice with the issue.in a few minutes, I received a call from them saying that since the unit is too old and rusty, they will not cover it under the plan!
I was very surprised with their decision since majority of the home owners don't own a new home. I own my house for the past seven years and my unit was working perfectly fine. What's the reason to buy protectrion plan if is not covered? Why they did not inspect before selling their plan? I wasted over $200 thus far for paying on the premium plus $65 for the service call.
How come they like to collect premiums but they don't perform service they're trying so hard to sell?
