Assured Asset Preservation contacted me awhile back in an attempt to
"recruit my services" for home repair. Within 2 minutes of our first
conversation they were asking me for all my personal information. They
wanted copies of my social security card, drivers license, contractors
license, and anything else I could provide them. I was already skeptical
and then they sent me a lengthy contract that I would have to sign in
order to receive work. The contract basically stated that Assured Asset
Preservation could terminate my services and cut invoices for any reason
they saw fit and outlined ridiculous rules and regulations. After some
research I discovered that they have no office and the business location
they give out is a PO BOX and a residential home. It is clear that Assured Asset Preservation
collects personal information and then sells it to telemarketing
companies. Contractors beware do not fall for their tricks. They are not
a business and will collect all your info and sell it.
