Ink Wizard Tattoo Studio is a group of 15 studios in Georgia that is owned by Gary Hall and they have been building a bad name for theirselves ever since their beginning, and not just by ripping off customers but also by screwing over everybody else in the industry also. They are attempting to capatalize on the industry at everybody elses expense.
The main rip-off Ink Wizard pulls is charging a $25 needle fee above the price of the tattoo, for using new needles. You can go to most tattoo studio supply websites and see that these needles cost less than $2 each, pre-assembled and steralized. It usually takes two of these needle assemblies to do the average tattoo. And then, if you use a credit card to pay for this tattoo, they charge an extra 10% for accepting your card. This is illegal in most states but just against their merchants agreement in Georgia. Hopefully someone will contact their credit card company one day and file a complaint on Ink Wizard so this will stop.
Now lets do the math, a $75 tattoo would cost $75 $25 needle fee = $100 then add 10% to use a card to equal $110. So a $75 tattoo costs $110.
Well a word of advise, avoid being ripped off by Gary Hall and Ink Wizard Tattoo Studio, there are a lot of honest Tattoo Artists and Studios in Georgia to get tattooed at.
