I purchased a set of hair extensions at a kiosk in my mall. The saleslady told me that my extensions, if well groomed, would last a year. This is three weeks ago and they look like carpet. I had them trimmed to my hairstyle (which they said I could do) and they started to curl at the ends. I decided not to straighten them or curl them (as I had been advised I could do) so I washed them with shampoo (also their suggestion) and let them dry straight.
I took much better care of them than it was suggested i do, but still I have a matted pile of melted blonde fuzz. They told me I could return to the kiosk with any problems but they refuse to take them back or refund my $100 dollars due to hygiene issues.
The saleslady lied outright to me regarding the care and quality of these extensions, then smiled and did nothing when i showed her the mess they'd become in such a short amount of time.
