Charged my credit card TWICE

While trying to retrieve my fathers birth records and a few of my own, I was sent to VITALCHEK by the New York State Vital Records Website. (the only way to get NY records online).
I placed my order, keyed in my cc # and I received an error meassage statin gthat it could not complete my order and to try again later. So that is just what I did, 5 minutes later.
I started all over again, got to the payment screen, put in my cc # and was so happy that it went through (no error message)
I received my order within 7 days and was super excited (126.00)
Then FEDEX drops by my door the next day with the SAME EXACT ORDER PLUS an extra birth cert. And it came from VITALCHECK. This time the fee was 167.50
I am quite nevous now becasue I have duplicate orders plus an extra birth cirtificate, so I go online and see if my checking account has been billed and low and behold it has, for BOTH amounts.
I DID NOT order both. I received an error message, no order number and a statement to try again later, but VITALCHEK has decided to charge me for both. I have emailed them 8 times in one month with NO RESPONSE at all! I have called with NO RESPONSE at all!
I have bounced a few checks becasue of the extra 167.50 they decided to steal from my account.
What a dissapointment to go from totally excited to toatlly ripped off by this company. I would NEVER ever do business with them, and I have now found out that they have done this to others as well. Please beware!!!
