On March 4th I signed up for evoice's $29.95/mo. Voicemail/800# service. After completing my account I tested out their service. I made two test calls and thought the web based admin software was very limited. So I requested via email to have them cancen my account. This service came with a 30 day money back guarantee and 1000 mins. I used 2 mins and was a customer for 3 hours.
On March 7th I saw a charge on my credit card from evoice. It was $49.95!!! I once again contacted evoice's customer service and spoke with Ashley. First she flat out denied my card was ever charged. After I gave her my bank's transaction number, she changed her story to, "maybe you signed up for more than one account". Plain ridiculous.
I have since spoken with Sandy as well, both women claim they've done nothing wrong and I must be mistaken. However I have already filed a claim with Visa and I have no doubt I will get my money back, its just having to spend the time trying that pisses me off.
I also filed a complaint with the BBB, but this company already has a "F" grade from doing the samething to many others.
Please avoid this company. I did find a company that is great for voicemail/800 service - com - everything is great with this company.
Sorry, …allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company… your comments on this policy are welcome!
