The town of Harrisburg has exposed a Census Aid Workplace at City Area.
Mayor Linda Thompson stated it's very important to obtain the correct info since she's been already the target of the census fraud, Lancaster tv station WGAL documented.
Thompson stated that she obtained and completed a census form a couple weeks before.
She didn't recognize it had been a phony type until her genuine census type came a week ago.
"I had been simply wanting to be considered a chief within the town that fills it out and (believed) the census said they'dnot request Social Security numbers, " Thompson said. "They actually expected for my tackle and where I labored and my job title. Therefore, there-you own it buyer beware."
Thompson said she's currently using actions to avoid identity theft.
