I ordered a toilet through HomeCenter.com, who shipped using NEMF. The delivery came quickly enough, but upon arrival, the driver demanded $100 for shipping.
Now, I couldn't at that moment recall whether or not I'd paid for shipping, so I simply gave him the cash (and got a receipt), figuring if I overpaid, we could regulate this later.
Of course, I later found I'd paid already for shipping (plus $25 extra for "Residential Shipping", making a total of $125 for the shipping costs).
Well that was bad enough, but as I tried to get my money back, they send a letter demanding the $100 yet again. If I paid this, I would've paid a total of $325 shipping on an item that cost $248.
This is now almost 3 months, and I haven't gotten anywhere. NEMF doesn't follow up on my calls, and the HomeCenter isn't getting anywhere, claiming it's up to American Standard to reimburse. But it was NEMF who took my money!!!
NEVER pay NEMF any cash on delivery... They will rip you off!!
